Screening Plagiarism

JUNITA: Journal Business and Tourism Research is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the quality of scientific publications through a plagiarism screening process for all submitted manuscripts.

Every manuscript submitted to JUNITA will undergo a plagiarism screening process using similarity checking tools before proceeding to the peer review stage. This process aims to identify potential plagiarism, duplicate publication, and inappropriate use of sources that do not comply with academic ethical standards.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted manuscripts are original works and that all sources used in the research have been properly acknowledged through appropriate citation and referencing practices.

Manuscripts that show a high similarity level or contain indications of academic misconduct will be returned to the authors for revision. In certain cases, manuscripts may be rejected by the editorial team in accordance with JUNITA’s publication ethics policies.

JUNITA applies a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and strives to ensure that all published articles meet the standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scientific responsibility.
